First of all, I want to thank all and any of you who have prayed for me and my family through this. It has meant alot, and I, for one, have felt it. God heard our prayers for my Uncle Daryl, but His answer was no. I guess that He just couldn't wait any longer for his company, and I can hardly blame Him.=')
Uncle Daryl was declared officially brain dead on Tuesday, June 27, at approximately 6 pm Australia time. His family went in early the next morning for final goodbey's before he went into surgery one last time to become an organ doner. It's a comfort to know that his life saved another.
Uncle Daryl has gone to Heaven, that I know and praise God for. He was devoted to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and firmly beleived in His death on the cross and resurection to bring us life. It's times like this that make a person truely grateful for the hope of Heaven. If it were not for that, life would be...not worth living. People would die, and never be heard from again...just...gone. Thank God that it doesn't have to be that way!
Since my Uncle's death, my cousin, Graeme, has taken on the responsibility of the man of the family. He has comforted his mother and two sisters and we are very proud of him for that. My cousin, Jenna, is the youngest. She is only 16 years old. While this has been and will be hard for all of them, it has had a specially difficult impact on her. She was there through some difficult times with Uncle Daryl while the other two were off at school. She was with him while he recuperated from a serious sickness. It's all just very hard.
My Mum is handeling it, but she is emotionally drained now. We've had our Chadian friends visiting all the time to give her their condolences at the loss of her brother-in-law. They've been very sweet, but it all takes is toll evenutally.

| Hey everyone/anyone!
I just wanted to let you all know what's happening with me right now. The biggest thing is about my Uncle Daryl. (he's my Mum's brother in law) On Sunday he had a brain anyeursm.(just in case you're wondering what that is, it's when an artery bursts in your brain and it is a VERY serious condition.) He had sergury right away, but he hasn't responded at all since then. He's not expected to live. (the doctors only gave him a 5% chance or survival.) He's not even 50 years old. He has 3 kids and one daughter-in-law of only a few months. Needless to say, everyone is in absolute shock. Anyeursms are very sudden and often come with out warning. It's been very hard for my Mum not to be able to be there for her sister. As for my Aunt...we haven't really heard very much from her, but she seems to be handeling it quite well all things considered, but still......things like this are never easy. They are all Christians, so it's not a hopeless situation. No matter what happens, I will see my Uncle again, if not here, then in Heaven.
If you would like to pray, and I would ask you to, pray for a miracle for my Uncle's healing, comfort and peace and strength for his family, and for my mother. I wouldn't mind if you prayed for me either, it's been very hard. I'd also like to thank those of you who have been praying for me already. Thanks so much! | | |

Take a good look at who you are and what you do today. Do you like what you see? In 20 years, when you have kids of your own, would you be proud to tell them all about it? Think about a child, big eyes, chubby, cherrub face...your child. Would you be able to look him/her straight in the eye and tell them everything about who you are today? Is who you are today, the kinds of person you would want your children to be looking up to?

| Well, it's officially vacation. We're back in Beré and have already said the good-beys. And I am doing very well (as far as goodbey's go. lol) I did some simple math to map out my vacation. Beré = boring. Summer vacation = long time. Beré + summer vacation = very long boring. So I decided to learn guitar! I've always thought that learning guitar would be cool. So, now I have a whole summer in which to do so! lol It's sooo much fuh!! I love it!
I'm also getting siked up for RFIS!! I'm spending a fair bit of time looking at my sis's yearbook. Getting to know faces and just getting excited! lol I'm also asking her alot of questions about RFIS and the hostle and driving her crazy with that! lol *smiles* It's so much fun! The only problem is that I'm excited now, but I don't go for another month or so!! lol O well, there could be worse problems to have. lol
Well, that's most of what I can think of to say right now. =) I'll post more latter when there's something to post. =)

| The year's almost over! Times running away from me too fast! I just can't catch up! Where did this year go? It's dissapeard! Memories...so many memories...but memories just aren't the same living them.
Okay, I sound really depressed. But I'm not! Just sad, that's all. lol
Well, time has run away from me again tonight! lol I've gotta go now! lol =)
